MobiBLU is about to announce their latest reincarnation of their miniscule cube shaped audio players. We had the Cube, then the Cube 2, now I present to you- the Cubisto. It rocks the same 1 or 2 gigabyte storage as its brothers, but comes wrapped in leather or rubber casings with a little loop for attaching it to necklaces (or hoodie drawstrings?). Despite having already owned 5 different MobiBLU cubes in my short life, I want it! NOW!

Filter Magazine Party
Ben Sherman Store
96 Spring St,
The Deal: 8-11pm
Live performance by Ra Ra Riot, DJ Josh Madden. You’re supposed to RSVP, but the deadline was Monday, so just make up some gibberish at the door — retail store parties are usually a cake walk.
525 W.29th Street,
btw 10th and 11th Avenues
The Deal: 10-11pm
well drinksA sumptuous chandelier-lit, dramatically banquetted enclave, Secret Lounge is this week’s closest thing to a gay bar (assuming you don’t count all the polysexual “Trash” rip-off festivities every other night of the week). It’s in Chelsea, but the crowd is mixed. So don’t get disppointed, chickies, if those smartly dressed guys you’ve been eyeing in the joint start tonguing after a few trips down the well.
Dirty Hands: A Group Print Show
btw Hope and Grand
The Deal: 6-10pm
arty party boozeSwoon, Ian Vanek of Japanther, Kim Schifino of Matt and Kim, and designer Sto all have work in this sizable group show. Gore is a popular theme among this crowd, so the bloody hand drawing on the invite’s not exactly a revelation.
93 Second Avenue,
bt. 5th and 6th Streets
The Deal: 12-12:30
PBR and well vodka drinks, no coverThey’re very generous over at Lit — a fucking half-hour open bar, and PBR, no less? Might as well spit in my decolletage and ask me to tap dance at my own mother’s funeral…on Christmas!
